What great ideas I will do these when I go camping this summer.
I really like these really creative ideas of camping. I think my favorite one is the tent with the tarp because it’s simple and easy to pack. I went camping the other day and I realize I took too much stuff and it got to the point it became a hassle. I thought to myself there is got to be a better way to pack for camping. Thanks for posting this great article because it has given me a lot of good ideas.
I love the portable spices in old Tic-Tac containers. That’s a truly genius idea, especially because I’m always having to pack and unpack all my big containers that I use in the kitchen. I will have to save this article for next summer because I will be using a lot of these ideas! Thanks!
Thanks so much!
just be sure not to leave spices in tictac containers for too long. they will harden and become bricks due to humidity, etc.
Carol- Thank you for the great tip!
I am planning on taking my family camping in a few weeks and I am really excited! We are planning on renting a tent, but, other than that, I have nothing else planned. However, there are some ingenious ideas on this post that I am definitely going to use. I especially like the ones about using Tic Tac containers to hold spices and toilet paper rolls as fire starters.

Thanks for your hard work collecting those useful tricks . I’ll try it in the next camping trip with my family .
The picture with the headlight with the full gallon jug is the perfect tent accessory. My husband only has an oil lamp and I wasn’t too sure about that being safe in our tent. This will be perfect to also make sure that nobody will get burned while we are in the tent. Thanks for the great tip!
Sandra- Thank you!
Camping Smith- I agree!
