Hi Idea Room readers – it’s Becky from the Clean Mama blog and Clean Mama Printables. Today I’d like to share some quick cleaning/organizing tips with you. We all need a quick clean up around the house before an unexpected guest arrives, before dinner or bedtime or at the end of a busy week. Today I’m going to share with you three different plans for quick clean ups, depending on how much time you have for your quick clean. No assessing the situation, just take your time into consideration and start your quick clean up and de-clutter.
So how much time do you have?
15 minutes – run around and quickly clean what is visibly dirty
30 minutes – take a bit more time to clean what is visibly dirty and what can be cleaned using a little more time</ div>
60 minutes – this could easily be a weekly cleaning schedule
A couple quick tips with the list?
-
set your timer
-
no distractions
-
quick declutter might mean tossing items in a laundry basket and hiding in a closet to sort through later
-
spot clean = clean what is visibly dirty
-
cleaning wipes are great for quick cleaning and disposal
-
add tasks that you need to do for your home
You can go here to grab your own Quick Clean Ups – Just Start Cleaning printable. Next time you need to clean up in a hurry, grab the list and check your way through it to a quickly cleaned up home.

Thanks for doing all the work and making it so cute!
It’s nice to have the basics laid out clearly and divided by time. Sometimes my cleaning ADD kicks in and I get off track. :)
It’s not that I LOVE to clean so much, as it is that I love to organize and make lists and THINK about cleaning. Thanks for the great tips! :)
LOL! I can totally relate! Love to make and cross off from the list…sometimes not the doing part as much!
Great idea! I am a huge fan of lists. Thank you so much Becky for taking the time and effort to share that with us. You keep us motivated and organized.
Hi Amy!

I am trying to print some of your printables and it seems like I have to pay ? (this is work for you so I would totally understand if it’s the case)
Thanks

If you email me at [email protected], I am happy to send you any of the free printables. Scribd charges once there have been a certain number of downloads – I don’t get that money :)
