Organization Tips with Clean Mama—Labeling

Hi Idea Room readers!  It’s Becky from the Clean Mama blog and Clean Mama Printables!  Today I’d like to talk about my favorite thing about organizing – LABELING!  Let’s face it, a good label makes any organizing project a little cuter.   So today, I’m going to share with you a few ways that I’ve used and made labels around my home.
write out a label

in a word processing document, type out the label, print on cute paper

or just plain white paper

or regular paper mounted on cute paper
</ div>
make a label, laminate and attach with velcro
</ div>

mod podge a label
</ div>
use a label maker, mount on cardstock, and attach with packing tape to make a label for a binder divider
</ div>
label maker with clear label tape on wood

vinyl

Your turn…..what’s your favorite way to label your organizing projects?

This proves that labeling doesn’t have to be a daunting task. Any label will work. The more time you have, the cuter the label! Great stuff.

I can’t wait until my craft room is finished so I can begin labeling things again. I {heart} labels a bunch! :)

Labels DO make everything cuter, don’t they? And label makers always remind me of Seinfeld. Anyone? Anyone? ;)

I love labels- just don’t have too many of them. Maybe that’s why I’m not too organized. :( I love doing vinyl for containers. Just looks so cool!

I am wondering if you can tell me what font you used on the flour and sugar containers. I love it! But if it is a secret font, I understand. I just found your blog today and am happy to be here. This looks like a lovely place to be.

heh..reminds me of one lady’s speech to her husband…” i don’t know why you cant find the sugar.. it is in the coffee can labeled ‘pecans”…

i never label things anymore. i use clear glass containers and drop the product information label into the canister with the goods.. so i can check the expiry date when my mommybrain forgets it after a month :)
