Garage Sale Date

Garage Sale Date

Whether or not you love Garage Sales, this is a fun date for all! Kristen made up two lists for her husband: List 1 – a list consisting of all the local garage sale addresses (that she had previously already looked up) and List 2 – a list of all items that needed to be found (like a scavenger hunt, but you don’t actually purchase the items). The person who finds the most items first wins!

minute to win it

Diva Erika turned this awesome game show into a hilarious date idea! Each contestant has one minute to complete random games made from household items such as:

  • “This Blows” – Blowing cups off a table with the air from a balloon.
  • “Face the Cookie” – You have to move a cookie from your forehead to your mouth without touching it.
  • “Penny Hose” – Retrieve a penny from the bottom of a panty hose leg with just your hands – not touching anything else.
  • “Bite Me” – Pick up 5 bags of different sizes with your teeth, without using your hands to touch the ground. The smallest one is 2 inches off the ground.
At the end they rewarded the Grand Prize winner and all other participants with random funny gifts from the Dollar Store – Mouthwash, a sombrero, gardening gloves, a sponge, and a giant water gun. It was almost as funny as the games themselves.

Patio Prom

This date is perfect for those looking to create a new memory together. I sincerely wish that my high school prom could have been spent with my husband as my date. So I recreated prom night incorporating all the traditional activities and including some more adult appropriate fun. I asked my husband to our patio prom by trashing his car (while he was at work) in a traditional sense. We had our prom pictures taken by a friend, we had a delicious smorgasbord of food for dinner including prom "souvenirs", then we danced the night away on our patio (after I made a quick dress change into something my mother would have never approved of, wink!) and we ended the night "parking" in our garage. haha! It was a night to remember!
I truly hope that each of you will take a moment to check out our blog and start planning the next date night with your spouse. We are full of fun ideas to make dating your spouse exciting and fulfilling. There is something for everyone on our site of dating wonders! Happy Dating!

    Kimbra Taylor says:

I think these are FABULOUS ideas! If you go on their website, you will see that their husbands plan JUST as many dates! They even do Guest Posts as well! :) They state that these ideas are to get couples out of the same old/same old “dinner & a movie”. Of course, these ladies love to kick back & enjoy cuddling with their husbands & watching a movie as well…but WE get to benefit when they share their creative ideas! It’s sad that people such as Lauren Woodmansee {above} complains. While the Dating Divas spend their free time trying to build others up, it’s sad but true that there are others out there who spend THEIR free time tearing others down. GO DATING DIVAS!!!!!

Whoops! Looks like the text from “Couples Minute To Win It” got copied & pasted over the “Garage Sale Date”.
