Apparently I have a sickness and an obsession…
and I can’t stop!
I lay awake at night, when I should be sleeping…
Dreaming up different ways to decorate Oreo’s on a Stick…
Check out the latest version of Oreo Pops…another idea to add to your collection of Halloween Snacks and Treats…
Take some Double Stuff Oreos and put them on a popsicle stick.
Find some “Spooky Green” candy melts and melt a few in the microwave in 20 second intervals.
Dip the Oreos in the green candy and set to dry on parchment paper.
Add two eyes and his head screws which are simply mini chocolate chips.
Then I pop mine into the freezer because I have no patience for things like that.
Remove from the freezer after about 20 minutes and melt some regular milk chocolate,
in the microwave in 20 second intervals.
Chocolate chips seem to work great.
Take a spoon and drizzle it on the top of the Oreo to make
Frank some hair!
Take an Edible Marker (Wilton sells them) and give him a mouth.
What did one of Frankenstein’s ears say to the other?
I didn’t know we lived on the same block.
What does Frankenstein’s monster call a screwdriver?
Daddy.
The End!

Those are so fun! My neices and nephews would love them! One question though . . . how do you keep your Oreo on the stick when you dip them in the chocolate. I tried making some of the Graduation Oreo Treats that you posted back in May, and everyone of them slipped off the stick when I tried to dip them in the chocolate. I kept re-heating my chocolate to make it not so stiff, but that didn’t help either. I ended up “painting” them in the chocolate with a small silicon spatula. So, what are your tips for a successful dip (and removal!) in the chocolate?
You have officially made me an Oreo Cookie Pop fan! I finally tried making the apple cookie pops that you put on your blog awhile back and I and the kids (and my husband) loved them! Now you have given me yet another cookie pop creation to try. I do find that I have to paint on teh chocolate to the cookies though as when i tried to just dip into the chocolate, the cookie came right off of the stick! Do you have a secret for dipping? It would be so much faster if I could just dip! Thanks for the inspiration!
ADORABLE! Yum! Thanks for the spooky idea :)
so cute!
Love Oreos on a stick (or any way, for that matter).
Keep those great oreo ideas coming!
Those pictures are fabulous and all love all your Oreo pop ideas! I really want to try some, but we have had to put our youngest on a low sugar diet so I guess it will have to wait. :(
Those are darling. My little man will love these. (and i’m sure his sister’s will too :))
Love this idea! And your little witch is absolutely adorable!!
the little witch may have just upstaged your cookies she’s so darn cute – as for obsessions; dreaming about oreos on a stick seems like a good one to me!

Hi Amy, featured these! Keep ’em comin’! :) http://funfamilycrafts.com/frankenstein-oreo-pops/
The Oreo pops are great, but could that little witch be ANY CUTER!!!
Hi there! I’m wondering what your trick was for getting those popsicle sticks in without cracking the oreo! We tried to make these and only ended up with a few because they kept breaking!!!! HELP! BTW I love your blog and have a blast using some of your projects with a little girl that I mentor. Thank you thank you!
I figured it out! You don’t actually dip them. You coat them. See here http://www.theidearoom.net/tag/food-on-a-stick
I am going to make these for my son’s Birthday Halloween Party, we are very excited! I discovered that Wilton has discontinued the ‘Spooky Green’, so we are tinting on our own.
