I don’t know about you, but I mainly use Arm and Hammer Baking Soda in my home for baking. I have always used the Arm and Hammer brand because it was the brand I grew up with.
In our home we have also used Arm and Hammer Baking Soda to put as a paste with water on bee stings or on canker sores inside the mouth. Both uses have worked really well for our family.
I was excited to receive this book that has over 100 awesome ways to use Arm and Hammer Baking Soda in around my home.
I found a lot of great uses for it that I am excited to try, but the challenge I wanted to share with you was seeing how well it worked on some pesky hard water stains we get in our Master Bathtub.
Our Master tub does not completely drain all the way…so water sits in the base of the tub and results in a horrible looking hard water stain that is very difficult to remove. To get it completely clean I have to scrub away at it with some pretty harsh chemicals and a scrub brush. Needless to say, it is one of my least favorite chores…not that I have many favorites :)!! And apparently I like to keep it real and show you just how ugly my bathtub can get…your welcome!
I found a recipe to remove hard water stains in my Arm and Hammer book and am actually excited to test it out. So I am going to test it out on a few areas in my home, first and foremost, my Master tub, and then come back and share my results with you.
