I need to make these ASAP! I just did a kitchen check and I have all the ingredients yay!
Okay just baked them and you’re right…they’re the best I’ve ever tried!
i love pudding chocolate chip cookies! they’re delicious and all-around sweet :) But I have to say, my new favorite recipe for CCC’s is this one: http://forme-foryou.com/2011/08/the-only-chocolate-chip-cookie-i-will-ever-need-to-know-how-to-make-for-the-rest-of-my-life.html The dough is a bit more savory/salty than pudding cookies (especially when you add the sea salt on top of the dough balls before you bake them, YUM) and i love that.
But I wouldn’t bake them nearly as long as it calls for, 20 minutes…more like 13 minutes :) I shared my experience making and enjoying them here :) http://adamandhaleykjar.blogspot.com/2012/05/baking-with-cookie-dough-monster.html
yay for cookies! I’m sure your kiddos loved those Amy!
They look heavenly!!
yum! pretty pictures too!
This is the only recipe I use for chocolate chip cookies now!!!
But now, you need to try it with chocolate pudding and peanut butter chips! That is my favorite!
I have a similar recipe that I love. I really like it with cheesecake pudding mix, sometimes with white chocolate chips and craisins. Or chocolate pudding mix with chopped Andes mints. The possibilities are endless!
These look great! My favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe is actually one I came up with after tweaking the Nestlé Tollhouse one over lots of years. This would have saved me that work!
Oh yes, these are the very best chocolate chip cookies! We make a very similar recipe. My husband learned it from his mother and he taught me. It’s the vanilla pudding mix that makes all the difference!!
Looks absolutely delicious! I could so go some right now.
this is a basic recipe that is always a hit at parties http://adaywithlilmama.blogspot.com/2012/02/easy-chocolate-chip-cookie-recipe.html
it’s opposite of yours though, thin and not gooey, but oh so yummy!
The recipe I use is the same as this minus the brown sugar. Everything else is the same, but there is no brown sugar in mine. They are always a big hit and I love them!
Oh! We must be on the same wave length (or had the same craving!). I just posted today about revamping my favorite recipe (Nestle Tollhouse – what else?!) with a bunch of healthier substitutions to save on cals, fat, and carbs. They were delish!

YUM! Just have the 3rd sheet in the over now… first sheet cooled enough for the kids and I to have one. YUM! Will be making these again and again!
I just made these, and they make the hundreds of hours I have spent on Pinterest worth every second; they are THAT good! I didn’t have vanilla pudding, so I subbed in two 1.4 oz. packages of sugar free Jello chocolate pudding, and I was also out of baking soda (bad baker!), so I subbed the 1 tsp. for 3 tsps. of baking powder. I also added a handful of colored jimmies just for fun. Thank you for this wonderful recipe!
Yay! I am so glad you loved them. They are pretty tasty. Glad you were able to make some good substitutions. Adding the jimmies sounds perfect!
This is now my go to chocolate chip recipe I have made it a few times and each time my cookies were a hit!
You asked for MY favorite choc chip cookie recipe.
I call these Super Easy Chocolate Chip Cookies: 1 cup peanut butter, 1 cup white sugar, 1 egg. Mix together then add in 1 cup of chocolate chips ( I like to use milk chocolate). make into @ 30 balls. place and flatten slightly ALL the balls on 1 standard cookie sheet. bake for 11 minutes at 350 degrees. Since I use parchment paper under them I slide them off the cookie sheet and let them cool on the counter. They are too soft to put on a rack. Not sure what the science is behind this recipe or why it works but these are always a big hit any place I take them. and so blessedly simple to make!
Oh my cookies!!
This is a wonderful recipe my kids and hubby loved them.
Thank you so .
