Last month I shared with you an annoying household challenge that I struggle with…hard water stains in my Master Bath. I was given a challenge to use Arm & Hammer Baking Soda to help take care of this little nuisance. I used a recipe found in this Arm and Hammer book that has over 100 tips and hints.
I whipped up this simple recipe above and then let it sit for an hour or so in the bottom of my bathtub with the drain pulled up. Then I simply scrubbed all the soap scum out of the tub. I had to work a little bit to get it off the really hard stains, but it came out nice and clean!
The ammonia I added has a strong smell so be sure to do this in a well ventilated area. Other than that I was really happy with how clean my tub was!
