I am happy to have Kelli and Kristi from Lolly Jane here today, sharing their Summer Series Beach Wreath. Who doesn’t equate summer with a visit or a few to the beach? I love how fun and creative this duo is. Wouldn’t it be so awesome to have a twin to share your love of creating with? Be sure to head on over to their site…Lolly Jane and check out some of their other amazing ideas!
Hi Idea Room readers, so excited to be here today! We’ve met Amy a few times over the past couple of years and just love her! To quickly introduce ourselves, we’re twin sisters Kelli and Kristi from Lolly Jane, a DIY/home improvement blog where we share tips for painting furniture, create holiday crafts and get crafty with home decor, all on a budget and once in a while, we’ll even share some tasty desserts along the way.
Today we’ll be showing you how easy it is to make a wreath with a bonus free printable, whoop!
To get started, you’ll need to create your wreath. We actually made this chevron citrus wreath last month for spring but love it so much that we’re recycling it for summer! Here’s how to put together this easy wreath. From there, print out this cute Life is a Beach printable from Box.net and frame.
String some coordinating yellow bakers twine through the picture frame to hang it from the wreath.
It’s that easy!
If you’d like to get a little more summery, just stick some pinwheel tooth picks in the wreath. I got mine at a party store, the whole bag was $3.
I’ll be reusing them with the kids for smoothies when we need to cool off!
Tag along with us on Instagram to see our other thrifty finds and if you’re looking for cute and inexpensive holiday and seasonal creations to spruce up your space, feel free to pop by Lolly Jane anytime! You’ll find projects like our herringbone stenciled bookcase, mustard yellow buffet, famous Rolo cookies and an easy Lemonade stand!
You can also find us on FB and Pinterest– we would love to see you (: A big thanks to Amy for letting us guest today! Happy summer, everyone! xo
