I just recently shared these Patriotic Hot Dog Trays as a guest post over at Lil Luna and wanted to share them here with you in case you missed them.
These hot dog trays are so easy to make and they make it easy for the kids (both big and small) to eat their hot dogs while containing some of the messy drips.
The hot dog trays are simply made out of some colored scrapbook paper. The paper is a little heavier weight so that the trays have some stiffness to them. Thinner paper will make it so they are not as sturdy, which may lead to dropped hot dogs and tears.

To use the pattern, simply print and cut out the pattern. Trace around the pattern on your scrapbook paper and then cut out and fold where the dotted lines are. Then simply place some glue on the 4 tabs and glue the tray together. I glued the end tabs to the outside, but either way will work.
And…you can make these for any activity or party where you will be serving hot dogs. You could even use them to serve nachos or sub sandwiches. The possibilities really are endless.
I will be sharing some more 4th of July printables with you for some of the other items you see pictured here…because really…who doesn’t love free printables? So be sure to come back!

How do I get the Hot Dog Tray Pattern?
Where do you buy your scrapbooking paper? That is a whole other world to me and I know they have really cheap stuff at dollar stores and Wal-Mart, but yours looks a bit sturdier and more suitable for this project.
I buy most of mine at Ben Franklin Crafts. They have nice and thick, double sided papers. I have also seen some nice ones at Hobby Lobby and JoAnn’s.
So fun! Such a great idea for the 4th! My kids would love these
These are really cute & so practical! Love the papers you used ~ I get most of mine at B Franklin too. These will be great for Papa’s Day, thanks for sharing!!
