Thanks for gathering all these creative ideas in one post.
You are welcome! xo
Can you direct me to the gingerbread house kit instructions? When I click it I get the playdoh instructions. I love the ideas!
I just fixed the link so that it is now correct. Thanks for letting me know!
Thanks so much Amy for including my “Just settle down…” blanket!
You are welcome! It is so clever and creative!
Absolutely Wonderful! Thanks for so many great ideas.
Merry Christmas to all.
Thanks Mary! We hope you have a great Christmas season as well!
Amy,
The website for the initial ornament is closed. If you have directions for this would you mind emailing? thanks so much for all you do. I love the ideas on your site!
Julie
Hmmm… I imagine they just covered the initial in scrapbook paper. Trace the initial onto the scrapbook paper and cut the letter out. Then mod podge it onto the front of the letter!
I’ve been visiting your website for quit a long time now, but I’ve never commented on anything and I thought it would be time to let you know how much I love The Idea Room!
Thank you so much for sharing your ideas ♥
Lots of love from the Netherlands,
Claire
Thank you so much Claire! That really means a lot to me! xo
I’ve never heard of this or seen it before, but I LOVE it!! It gets me to thinking of so many creative ideas!
love all the cute ideas.
Please share link for Peppermint Popcorn. It goes to different page (cinnamon pretzels). Thanks!
I really enjoyed reading all your gift ideas…they were awesome. My dilemma is that I need to give an equally awesome gift to my little sister who will be turning 50 in early 2015. She gave me an special gift when I hit that bench mark and I need to do something equally wonderful for her. She contacted all my friends and family and made a photo book with 50 different comments about me. It was the most thoughtful gift I have ever gotten. I want to do something special for her and have been searching all sorts of websites for ideas for over a year. I am open to any creative ideas you may have….thanks!
What a sweet gift. One year my sister made my parents an awesome scrap book that shared “70 things we love about you” for my dad who was turning 70. It was so cute and they loved them! Here is the link! http://www.theidearoom.net/2009/05/things-we-love-about-you-scrapbooks.html
I LOVE the fruit basket idea!!! Im really going to take advantage of this for coworker gifts and family gifts. I see you have a link in the article for the boxes, but the link is broken. Is it just a simple wooden box? Oh and btw…we always received an apple / orange / nuts and hard candy in our stockings too. :)
I will get those fixed for you!
OMG….. i have 5 grand kids from 4 to 12 what great ideas. Merry Christmas from kansas
Thank Renee! Merry Christmas to you too!
i love all these ideas! Thank you for sharing! I was wondering if you have the correct link for the candy cane popcorn? The link goes to the pretzels
Let me check and fix it if it is wrong. Thanks for telling me!
excellent publish, very informative. I wonder why the other specialists of
this sector don’t understand this. You should continue your writing.
I am confident, you’ve a great readers’ base already!
At this time I am going to do my breakfast, after having my
breakfast coming again to read further news.
The link for the Monogrammed Soap Label printable just takes you to your Facebook page. I’ve liked your page already, but I don’t see any link for a free printable. This link may need to be updated.
Hello – I think the Oreo Elf Feet link might note be working. Such a cute idea to make with kids.
Tafra- Thank you for letting me know about this. I will fix it.
