One of my favorite things about summer as a kid was being able to stay out later and play neighborhood night games. We would usually play some sort of Tag, Ghost in the Graveyard or Kick the Can game. I thought it would be fun to step it up a notch this summer with some Glow in the Dark Games, Activities and Food Ideas. But there are so many great ideas out there and here are just a few that I have gathered. Which one are you going to try out first?

I know this is an older post, but I’m gonna throw this out there anyway… the glowing bubbles doesn’t work and is slightly dangerous. Inside each glow stick are two chemicals. One of those chemicals is in a small glass vial. So, once you snap it, the chemicals interact and start to glow. But, you cut it open and you’ve got teeny shards of glass in your bubbles! Plus, it didn’t actually make the bubbles glow. Just thought you should know!!

Thank you so much! Glad to know about this!
I couldn’t get the water beads to work either.
wouldn’t you need to have a black light for these to glow?
Maybe for some of the ideas. Enjoy!
