APPLE CAKE
I am so excited to share with you this yummy Apple Cake that I made! This cake is moist and delicious, especially while it is still warm and fresh from the oven. It’s perfect for an after dinner dessert or served the next morning for breakfast.
HOW TO MAKE APPLE CAKE
I made this with my new KitchenAid® Spiralizer Attachment. To get the fun layered look with the apple slices, simply cut the spiralized (sliced) apples in half and then layer them in the cake batter in a circular pattern.
Then I used this lovely KitchenAid® Stand Mixer to whip up the cake batter. The KitchenAid® Artisan® Series Tilt-Head Stand Mixer comes in 20 different colors. The mixer has a 5-quart stainless steel mixing bowl with comfortable handle. With 10 speeds, the standmixer will quickly become your kitchen’s culinary center as you mix, knead and whip ingredients with ease. And for even more versatility, the power hub fits optional attachments from food grinders to pasta makers and more.
APPLE CAKE RECIPE
One of my favorite things about this time of year, is that it is also apple season here in Utah. The different varieties of apples here are so delicious! I can’t ever get enough! We love to eat them with caramel, or put them in oatmeal or baked into some of our favorite desserts. Some of our favorite apple desserts are my Apple Crisp, Apple Pie and Apple Nachos.

I recently teamed up with Porch and KitchenAid and tried out their spiralizer. I loved how easy this spiralizer is to use. There are a few different attachments for it depending on what you are spiralizing. I decided to make an Apple Cake, because I wanted to see how easily it could slice apples.
It worked perfectly. The attachments are so easy to put on and take off. I was also able to clean them very easily too. It took just a few minutes to slice and core several apples for the Apple Cake.

The apple cake looks amazing! I’m in Australia so I can’t enter the comp but I have a spiralizer anyway and love it – especially for apple snacks for the kids. Yum!
