Leprechaun Gift

As promised, I have another St. Patrick’s Day gift idea to share with you today.  These are pretty simple and make a easy gift to give to brighten someone’s day.  These are a spin off of my Father’s Day Soda Bottle Covers I shared a couple of years ago.  Do any of you remember those?

I simply took a bottle of Sprite and made this little Leprechaun Bottle cover to attach to the bottle.

Since I didn’t want to be able to see the Sprite Label on the top of the bottle, I simply cut out a piece of scrapbook paper and wrapped it around the top and glued it into place.

Then I decided to wrap a strip of white cardstock around the middle of the bottle and add one of the labels from the Rainbow in a Jar gifts that I shared the other day.

I also came up with a printable label for the Leprechaun Sprite bottle if you would like to use those to give with your little gift bottle.

You could also use the Leprechaun heads for the Rainbow in a Jar gifts as well.  Simply adjust the white head band smaller or cut it out larger depending on the size of the jar you are using.

Or….wrap them around your glasses or napkins on your St. Patrick’s Day table. That is what I will be doing for our dinner table this coming Sunday. It adds just a simple festive touch to your St. Patrick’s Day dinner table.

I will be providing you with the free downloads of the St. Patrick’s Day printables for a few days before I move them over to my store.  So be sure to grab them if you want to use them.

You will need to go through my FB page to gain access to them.  If you are not a fan of The Idea Room, you will need to like the page first and then click on {Previous Downloads} to gain access to the printables.

How will you use the Leprechaun Head?  That sounds creepy…but you know what I mean…right?!

Easter Bunny Gift Jars & Labels

Last week, I shared with you these fun little Easter Gift Ideas.  Today I want to share with you how I made them and provide you with the free labels and bunny ear patterns.

Since I know many of you will want to know where I got the jars, they are Starbucks Frappucino Bottles that came in a four pack from Target.  I collect these jars and use them for all sorts of fun projects.

Then I wash them out and sterilize them in the dishwasher.  I also usually spray paint the lids white.  Since the weather has been so cold and snowy here, I was not able to spray paint the lids but had one spray painted lid laying around.

Then I cut out some bunny ears and attached them to the rim of the glass bottle.  I used some pink polka dot cardstock to make the inner ear.

And I also made some cute Easter labels on my Silhouette and printed and cut them out and attached them to the bottles.  I printed them out onto Silhouette’s white sticker paper.  But you can also print them out on white cardstock, cut them out with scissors and then glue them onto the jar with a glue stick.

Fill the jars with some Easter candy or use them to serve Easter drinks in at your Easter Party or Easter Dinner.  Click on the image or links below to get access to the printables.  You will have to Like The Idea Room on Facebook.  Then click on the “Get Your Free Gift” link and on “Previous Downloads”.

I apologize for the extra steps but I have had a lot of trouble with others posting my printables and the links to them on their own websites.  I will also offer this printable free for a few days and then will move it into my Idea Room Store where it will then be sold.  So if you want to use you be sure to get it now.  I will be sharing a post later about why I have made the decision to start moving my printables into my shop after offering it free for the first couple of days.

Tic-Tacs Tik-Tok Valentine

Here is another quick and easy homemade Valentine’s Day gift.  This is another simple one that you can simply print the label and paste it right over the existing label of a box of Tic Tac’s.

It doesn’t get any simpler than that does it?  These could be fun to give to your teacher or your significant other alone or in a gift basket.

Valentines-Day

I have a couple more simple gift ideas coming this week and then I promise to move on to some bigger and better home décor items.  Is anyone else getting tired of the cold at your house?  I have been so unmotivated because it has been so frigid over here!  My pipe in my kitchen sink even froze.  If you follow me on FB you know that we were luckily able to get the pipe to thaw slowly, saving us from a burst pipe.  Thank Goodness!  Those are not fun!
