Sodderbug Giveaway!

This Giveaway is now closed!
I am sure some of you have seen and heard of Sodderbug. If you haven’t, I am excited to introduce this amazing jewelry site to you. Janelle is a mom to two cuties and makes jewlery on the side. She hand solders beautiful custom charms with a picture or image of your choice.

I love how personal and versatile these pieces of jewelry are. Wouldn’t they make a great gift for your mom, grandma, sister or best girlfriend?

The best part is that Janelle can put anything in the charms. For example you could use pictures, bible verses, blog buttons, monograms, quotes, or logos.

And guess what? Janelle wants to give two…yep, TWO of The Idea Room readers their very own personalized piece. How amazing is that? All you need to do is head on over to her site and look at all the amazing things she can create. Then come back over here and leave a comment telling us what you would have her make for you if you were to win. Make sure there is a way for me to contact you should you be chosen.

Janelle also has a blog that she shares more of her creative ideas with us. Be sure to check it out and leave her some comment love.

This giveaway will end on Sunday, February 28th, 2010 at 11:59 pm PT. Good Luck and a HUGE thank you to Janelle from Sodderbug.

I have another amazing site to share with you today called Cap Creations. Cap Creations has some beautiful jewelry for him and her. There are so many items over there that I fell in love with. But, I think my personal favorite is her “i am” series!

Well…Cathy, from Cap Creations, has generously offered to give one of The Idea Room readers a $40 gift certificate towards anything in her shop. Isn’t that exciting? I know!

To enter the giveaway, simply go to Cap Creations and take a look around. Then come back here and leave a comment telling us what your favorite peice is from their shop. Only one comment per person please. Also, remember to leave a way for us to contact you should you win!

This giveaway will end on Friday, February 12, 2009 at 11:59 PT. Good Luck! Thanks Cathy for your generous giveaway! You can also find out more about Cathy on her personal blog here.

P.S. I have recently been getting some annoying spam comments, so I am turning on my word verification temporarily (which I really don’t like) to see if it can help. Sorry!

It’s time for another giveaway!

Have you seen the fun, soft chairs that Pottery Barn Kids has for sale? I love them, but they are a bit pricey.

One of my readers has actually made her boys their own chairs, modeled after the ones found at Pottery Barn. They look just like the real ones.

Abbie has made a downloadable pattern and has listed it for sale in her ETSY shop named Abbiesolutely. These chairs are perfect for kids who tend to be a little rough on things. Abbie herself says, “Children of all ages love these chairs! My three boys sit in their chairs to read, watch tv, and play video games. My older boys also love to use their chairs to build forts”.

The patterns include complete instructions, with easy to follow diagrams and photos. The pattern is in PDF format.

The completed chair is 22 inches tall, 24 inches wide, and 23 inches deep.

Abbie would like to give one of my readers a free copy of the pattern so that you can make one too! Abbie also has some File Folder Game patterns in her store as well. She will be giving away a set of all three to another lucky reader.

Each printable game is a PDF file containing all the pages you will need to complete the game. All you need to do is print, cut and assemble. You may also laminate for durability and use Velcro or magnets to attach the pieces if you choose.

The games in the pictures were assembled on letter sized paper and placed in a notebook, but they were also designed to be assembled on a file folder.

To enter the giveaway, simply leave a comment stating which pattern(s) you would like to win. Be sure to leave a way for us to contact you. This giveaway will close on Saturday, February 6, 2009 at 11:59 pm PT. Only one entry per person!

If you would like to buy some of Abbie’s patterns for yourself, head over here to her ETSY shop.
