Snap! The Conference - The Idea Room

I am excited to be able to share a great SPRING giveaway for all my Utah locals! (and for those of you who may be able to travel here)! As many of you know I have been helping to plan the SNAP Creativity Conference here next week at Thanksgiving Point in Utah.

We have been so lucky to be able to hold this conference at this amazing venue. While we are there, Thanksgiving Point will be hosting their annual Tulip Festival. Every attendee at SNAP! will be getting a ticket to the festival. But since many of you here will not be at SNAP!, I thought it would be fun to be able to give some one some free tickets to see the tulips. Who would like that?

The annual Thanksgiving Point Tulip Festival, is spread throughout the 55-acre Thanksgiving Point Gardens, the Tulip Festival is an awe-inspiring sight that is redesigned each year to create a new display.

The Tulip Festival runs April 13th through the 28th (closed Sundays) and features “more than a quarter-million tulips in nearly 100 unique varieties and 70 different colors spread across 55-acres of 15 themed gardens.”

Not only is that a whole lot of flowers for your viewing pleasure…Thanksgiving Point has many different events during the festival. Click on the link for a full list of the available Tulip Festival Festivities!

The Thanksgiving Point Tulip Festival hours are 10am to 8pm Monday through Saturday and tickets can be purchased at the Thanksgiving Point Gardens.

Ticket prices are $10 for adults, $9 for seniors and $6 for children aged 3-12. Entrance is free to Thanksgiving Point members and children under 2 years.

You guys probably know by now from some of my past posts, that I am a member of the Snap! Conference Team. SNAP! The Conference is a three day blogging conference in Salt Lake City, Utah. It will be held at the beautiful Thanksgiving Point from April 19-21, 2012 right during the peak Tulip time.

Jen from Tatertots and Jello and I are teaming up and are heading the Blogging and Craft Track of the Conference. I just love Jen and am so excited to be able to work with her and the other team members. We have a lot of great things in store for those in attendance.

We have been working hard behind the scenes gathering together speakers and panelists, which happen to be some of the most talented faces in the blog and craft world.

We have announced several of them and still have a few more announcements to make. Pretty exciting right? We are in the process of finalizing some great classes and hands on DIY workshops. Stay tuned for further information and details about the classes and DIY workshops that we will be offering.

I am also really excited that there will be an amazing handmade Snap! Market. The Queen Bee Market (who is owned and run by Mique Provost from 30 Days) will be an exciting addition to our Snap! Conference and will offer a wide variety of unique handmade items for sale. If you are the owner of a handmade shop and would like to be a vendor, you can apply here. But you need to hurry as space is limited. The Queen Bee Market is only accepting applications through January 31, 2012.

We would love to have you join us either as an attendee or a Market vendor…or both! Just a reminder that the cost for a full conference ticket will be increasing this Friday, Jan. 20, 2012. Please take advantage of the lower price this week!
