I had a post all ready to go that I had wanted to share with you, but due to a couple mean-spirited recent e-mails, I find myself questioning my motivation for this blog.

The motivation for me in starting this blog was to be a way for mothers to come together and share ideas in an uplifting manner. I won’t go into any details but feel a bit overwhelmed at the need for some people to freely “give an opinion” about me and my religion as if they personally know me and what I believe.

I am choosing not to take offense, but rather am wondering what their possible motivation could be to take the time share their “concerns” with me. I have kindly responded to each email and acknowledged their opinions as they are just that. Normally I would not even mention any of this to you except for the fact that these recent events have me feeling the need for an internet vacation.

In terms of this blog, I never wanted it to become something I was not enjoying and more importantly something that was taking me away from my family. Unfortunately, I feel no joy today. I will be back shortly. I just need a little break, so don’t go away!

I just wanted to thank all of you for adding my button to your blogs, adding my site to your sidebars and the e-mail and comment love! You guys are so nice and I try to answer each and everyone of you and your questions. If I have missed anyone, it was by oversight!

And a big thank you to all of you who have ordered from the Idea Room Store! Whew! I think I am finally caught up. If you have not received your orders by now, the last batch is heading out in the morning!

Also, a big thank you to Corey, who featured me on her blog Life with Little Ones, with some kind words and interview questions. It is really weird to see my face and my words on someone else’s blog. Last, but not least, I fiddled with my 3 columns. Will you take a second to vote so I can see how many are seeing 3 columns now? Sorry! What a pain! But alas, my OCD could not let it alone. I tell ya…it’s truly a curse.
