We love playing games together as a family, especially on Sunday afternoons. So we are always looking for games that all of us can play, including the younger ones. Here are some of our favorites:
Sleeping Queens
Blokus
Guillotine (this is for kids who can read well)
Slamwich
Bowling Dice
We learned about a couple of these from my sister who has introduced us to some of our favorites and another friend of mine whose family also enjoys playing. I found most of these games at Target. If you can not find them there, you can find them at Amazon.com. You can usually get things there with free shipping! Wahoo!
What are some of your favorite games you play together as a family?

I just found your blog from Holly and I am so glad that I did.
We also are a family who loves to play games. Right now we love Phase 10, candyland (for the youngfer ones, and pick two. These are just a few my list would be too long to name everything.
When Dallin & I have time to play a game between the two of us it's usually either The Settler's of Catan (modified house rules) or Cribbage. For one FHE I made up a church bingo (the squares have pictures for temple, prophet, prayer, etc.) that the kids both LOVE to play either with M&Ms or pennies. One of our favorite group games (for adults) is Bang!.
I'm so glad I found your blog as well, can't wait for more, keep them coming, Love it.
You have to get Pass the Pigs. All you do is roll the two plastic pigs like dice and you get points based on who they land. Everyone can do that as long as an adult or older child keeps score. We found this at Target as well. We have adult family game night once a month. We only have 2 children in the family right now and they love this one.
Sequence for Kids is our recent family favorite! And Sorry! has been a favorite for awhile.
Stare Jr. is a great new one we enjoy and Squint Jr.
Dutch Blitz is a quick and easy counting game, also Blink is an easy sorting type card game. We play games all the time, so it’s hard to decide the favorites, but Sequence is also a good one that doesn’t take all afternoon to play.
