Today…I was able to do a guest spot on a local TV Show, Good Things Utah. I shared how to make these Stuffed Animal Easter Baskets. It went pretty well overall. I was glad when it was over though. I am more of a “behind the scenes” personality . I really enjoyed being able to meet Nicea, Mardi and Reagan who are the hosts {Angie was not there}. They were all so nice and really laid back and easy going!
My kids actually didn’t have school today and they were able to come and sit in the audience and watch it live. They were really excited to see how it all works behind the scenes. They were even on TV for a few seconds when the camera man panned the audience. They thought that we pretty great :)!
I snapped this picture of them in the audience but couldn’t talk to them to get them to look over at me as the show was being filmed.
Anyways, if you are interested in watching the clip I have included it here.
I also wanted you to know that I finally made the switch from Blogger over to WordPress if you haven’t already noticed. I have been debating the switch for a LONG time and finally just decided to do it. I used Aaron from RFE Hosting.
I have to say…that the switch was so painless and went off without a major hitch. Aaron was great to work with and he and I worked from 8 pm till 2:00 am together on Google Chat to make all the changes and adjustments. He did an amazing job and was very patient with my indecision :).
There are still some small changes that will be tweaked here and there but all in all it was a smooth transition. Thanks RFE Hosting!

You did so great!!! I loved watching you and I love that your kids got to come. Maybe I will take mine next time. I have a question, what made you decided to switch to wordpress? I am still so new that I don’t really know the difference.

Thanks Stacy! You should take your kids. They would love it. I just decided that it had a lot more capability to expand and add some extra features. So far I am liking it but feel like a fish out of water! But it went pretty smoothly although there are a lot of things I need to figure out how to tweak!
Wonderful Amy. You really are the sweetest gal. Your site looks and runs fabulous!!
Thanks Danielle! You are really too kind. I hope it is running okay! I was really nervous about that! Can’t wait to finally meet you!
Amy this is so exciting! Were you terribly nervous? You sound like a professional! I dream of the day I have an opportunity like this =)
Thanks Sommer! I was nervous! I am glad it didn’t come across that way. When that red light goes on I forget what I was going to say :) LOL! I had a bunch more planned to say and then she asked me a question about my blog and it threw me off! Are you in Utah? I could maybe hook you up ;)!
Wow how exciting to get to be on one of your local shows!! I am new to your blog and I am so glad I found it!!
Thanks and welcome Alicia! I hope you enjoy what you see here!
I’m so glad you posted it here- I just missed you on t.v.! You did a great job! What a great idea.
xoxo,
Amy
Weird, it’s not showing up for me. Anyone else having this problem?
Hmmm! I will have to look into that. There are still a few kinks from the WP transfer! Do you have a different internet option…maybe firefox?
How fun to be on tv! I am going to go watch it now.
I love your blog. You inspire me:)
