- Cardstock
- cutting mat
- hot glue
- white pearl
- ring form or a round bail plate (3/4 inch) for the necklace (Michael’s)
- laquer spray or varnish spray to give it a nice “waterproof” finish (optional)
Instructions:
- Cut out the 5 flowers on card stock.
- Line up flowers from smallest to largest.
- Fold up the petals of each flower and bend them so that they look like a 3D flower.
- Glue the pearl onto the middle of the smallest petal.
- Glue the smallest petal to the one just bigger so that the petals are overlapping.
- Continue to do this with each petal so that the largest petal is on the bottom and you have 5 layers of the flower.
- Glue the flower onto the round necklace bail or the ring form.

These are so cute! Do you laquer before or after you assemble the petals?
Amy says
I laquered the flowers when they were finished but BEFORE I glued them onto the necklace and/or ring base. I of course glued them on after they had dried. That is a great question! I should have added that in the instructions!
Did you use a cartridge for this or where did you find the flowers?
Nevermind, I just found the link to the cutting file. LOL
Oh good! Glad you found it!
I was wondering if you had tried it in anything else like felt or leather or even aluminum?
Yes! I have cut thin leather on it. You have to cut it a couple of times but it cuts it nicely! I used a deep cut blade that they sell too!
