What are some of your favorite Easter Traditions?

Easter Gift

My older kids have been a little obsessed with these EOS lip balms. They seem to be all the rage with the kids today in our neck of the woods. I had never heard of them until a few months ago. The first time I saw them, I thought they looked just like little colorful Easter eggs.

EOS-chapstick

So, of course…I had to turn these cute EOS Lip Balm’s into some fun Easter gifts. Wouldn’t it be so fun to give or get one of these in an Easter Basket or from one of your favorite people?  You can get them from Costco or Amazon through this link if you are interested…

Easter-ideas

This is another one of these quick and easy Easter gift ideas! Seriously! All I did was take some of my white vinyl scraps and used a hole punch to punch out some round circles of vinyl. Be sure to punch the vinyl out while it still has the vinyl backing paper on it…otherwise you could end up with a pile of stuck together polka dots.

Then print out some of printable Easter gift tags and attach them to the lip balm after you package them up all pretty. I simply put them in a plastic gift bag with some artificial Easter grass.

Then give them to your friends and/or your teachers. I have two different printable tags for you to download. I didn’t take a picture of the teacher tag which says’ “You are an “EGG”cellent teacher!” because I didn’t think about making a teacher version until after I took the pictures. The tag is exactly the same as the one pictured except for the wording.

Some Bunny Loves You–Easter Printables

Did you see the amazing GIVEAWAY a group of my friend bloggers and I have put together? Be sure to enter if you haven’t.

I went a little crazy coming up with some new Easter gift ideas and Easter Printable This Easter idea is pretty simple. I wanted to try to get away from candy and use something that is a *little* healthier.

This Easter gift also is nice because it can be used for those with gluten intolerances.  Annie’s makes bunny crackers and fruit snacks that are gluten free, so it is nice to have something you can give to someone who has issues with that…like myself.

Bunny-Crackers

These are so simple. All you need to do to make them is print out the little tags, which I am sharing with you today. I picked up these individual serving packages of Annie’s bunnies at Costco but you can also find them on Amazon here:

Annie’s Bunny Snack Variety Pack (8 Chocolate Chips Bunny Grahams, 8 Chocolate Bunny Grahams, 8 Honey Bunny Grahams, 12 Cheddar Bunnies Crackers) a total of 36-1oz bags

Easter Gift–Bunny Kisses

I love using the printable kiss stickers for the different holidays but hadn’t made any for Easter yet. I love that they make a really inexpensive but totally unique Easter Gift.

easter-printables
So I made some. I love that you can use these stickers to make a seemingly ordinary gift, a little extraordinary. I also love that you can use them on a lot of other things too.

easter-gift-tags
I decided to not use the old stand by bottle for the kisses like I have done with the other holiday Hershey kiss stickers.

I am loving bunny silhouette’s (if you haven’t noticed) and thought it would be fun to make some little bags to hold the Hershey’s kisses and give away as a little Easter gift.

easter-bunny

I simply stenciled a bunny silhouette onto the little linen bags (which I picked up from Michaels). Then I glued a little white pom pom on the bunny for a little cotton tail with some hot glue.  If you can’t find the bags in your local craft store you can pick some up from Amazon here:

Cotton Drawstring Muslin Bags, 3″ X 5″ – Pack of 25

I added these cute little Easter Bunny Kisses tags to each one.    And just used the little string ties to tie the tag onto each bag.

DIY Burlap Bunny–Easter Decor

I don’t really do any decorating for St. Patrick’s Day.  It is not a holiday we really celebrate other than a small visit from the Leprechaun, turning a few items green and wearing green so we don’t get pinched.  So I have already started pulling out my Easter décor.

Easter-decorations

I have been updating my Easter décor this year and getting rid of a few really old items that I just wasn’t in love with any more.  Here is my first Easter décor item I want to share with you today.  You can make one too!

easter-decor This framed Burlap Easter Bunny is not a new idea and I have seen several versions floating around the internet…here is my version.

I started with an old 12 x 12 picture frame that I had laying around and I spray painted it white.  I can’t remember the last time we had nice enough weather in a February in Utah to be spray painting outside! But I am not complaining!

easter-decorationsThen I took some burlap (which can be purchased at most craft or fabric stores) and cut it to fit into the frame.  I attached the burlap to the cardboard that came with the frame with a glue stick just so that it would lay down nicely and let it dry.

easter-craftsThen I cut this bunny silhouette out on my Cricut Explore and used the vinyl as a stencil.  If you don’t have a cutting machine, I have made it so that you can download the bunny as a pdf and make your own stencil the old fashioned way with a pair of scissors and some cardstock.

Stencil the bunny onto the burlap with white craft paint and let it dry completely.  Then simply glue a regular cotton ball or a white pom-pom onto the bunny’s tail with the hot glue gun.
