Easter Gift–Bunny Kisses

I love using the printable kiss stickers for the different holidays but hadn’t made any for Easter yet. I love that they make a really inexpensive but totally unique Easter Gift.

So I made some. I love that you can use these stickers to make a seemingly ordinary gift, a little extraordinary. I also love that you can use them on a lot of other things too.

I decided to not use the old stand by bottle for the kisses like I have done with the other holiday Hershey kiss stickers.

I am loving bunny silhouette’s (if you haven’t noticed) and thought it would be fun to make some little bags to hold the Hershey’s kisses and give away as a little Easter gift.

I simply stenciled a bunny silhouette onto the little linen bags (which I picked up from Michaels). Then I glued a little white pom pom on the bunny for a little cotton tail with some hot glue.  If you can’t find the bags in your local craft store you can pick some up from Amazon here:

I added these cute little Easter Bunny Kisses tags to each one.    And just used the little string ties to tie the tag onto each bag.

Printable Easter Banner

St. Patrick’s Day is coming up in less than a week, but I am going to jump ahead and share with you this fun and simple Printable Easter Banner today.  This printable banner is really simple to make.

And since I know many of you do not have the fancy cutting machines, I made this one so that EVERYONE can replicate it for their own home if they want.  I made this banner the “old-fashioned” way.  All you need are a pair of scissors, some burlap, your favorite colors of scrapbook paper, two white pompoms and a sharpie.

Simply print the patterns for the banners (the inner and outer banner), the letters and bunny shapes onto a thicker piece of cardstock.  This will give you a nice thick pattern that is easier to trace.  Cut out the patterns and then cut 8 of each banner.  I did the colored cardstock on the outer banner flag and then used the burlap for the inner banner.

Trace each letter and the bunny shapes onto the burlap for each letter with a fine black Sharpie.  Then fill in each shape with a thicker Sharpie.

I did use fabric for one of the outer banners because I wanted a green one and had no green scrapbook paper on hand.  And…when I get going on a project…I just want to get it finished!!  You might also notice black under the burlap…it is there for a reason and I will share that in an upcoming post!

Glue a pompom on each bunny to give him a cute little cotton bunny tail.

Then hang your new Easter Bunting up in a fun and visible area in your home.  I simply attach the banner with some mini clothespins onto a string of twine and then tape it up on my dish hutch.  Super easy and festive!
