I actually have a St. Patrick’s Day craft coming. I wanted to share it with you today and just had to take some pictures of it but the weather was not cooperating. Too dark and dreary for a good photo. So I will share it with you later this week. But in the meantime I would like to share with you a fun edible easter craft…Chocolate Covered Marshmallow Peeps!
Now…I am NOT a fan of Marshmallow Peeps. But everyone else in my immediate family is. So I thought it would be fun to spruce them up and make them into something that is extra fun to gift and eat.
Simply take some Marshmallow Peeps and stick a sucker stick into the bottom of it. Dip them into melted white chocolate or Vanilla Candi-Quik. Lay them down on wax or parchment paper. Add some mini chocolate chips for eyes and a jelly bean for the bunny’s nose. Let dry.
Super simple and easy! These would be a fun gift for friends, neighbors, class mates, and family members for Easter.

Life with my sweeties says
Oh my gosh!!! Looks fantastic!
call me crazy, but I love STALE peeps…seriously so good (growing up my dad and I would open up a package and leave it out for a day…then devour them:) White chocolate would make them extra tasty! and love the jelly bean noses :) sweet idea Amy!
Those are SO cute! I'm not much of a peeps fan… but my son would go crazy over these!
Haley-me tooooo!!! I like 'em stale too. Have you ever tried freezing them?!? They kind of give them that stale taste too. SO good! :o)
The kids would love these. You guys are nuts, though, with the stale peeps. The best way to have peeps is roasted over a campfire. The sugar on the outside caramelizes. Yum! Plus then the boys get to shriek, "My eyes are melting, save me, save me." and stuff like that as the peeps are roasting. Almost as fun for them as peep wars. (Each little yellow chick gets a toothpick lance, stick them in the microwave on high and watch throught the window. Whoever's lance touches the other chick first wins.)
Thanks for sharing these treats.
For the love of God woman! Do you know what you've done. You've just given me a recipe to add to the size of my tushie!
Oy!
cute! love the jelly bean nose! I am not a fan of peeps either, but covered in chocolate, I think I could manage to eat a few dozen!
These are cute – I bet the kids love 'em! I'm with you – I'll save them all for them. ;)
And love everything on a stick, easy and simple to dip!

OOOOhhhh!! Good one, Amy!! I gotta admit to liking the peeps. But they have to be at least a week old. I open mine and have my husband hide them from me for a week. Yummers! This sugar addiction….it's a sickness…really!
Oh my gosh, I LOVE these! I just hope I have time to make some! This turned out great and I did a feature of it here Extreme Personal Measures.
