As you know, I have been working with Cricut. I love the opportunity it has given me to create some fun and unique ways to use my Cricut Explore Machine. My kids were huge fans of lacing cards when they were younger. I have always been obsessed with stars and the Constellations. So, why not combine the two? These Constellation Lacing Cards are a fun way to get your kids interested in learning about the night sky while working on their fine motor skills.
They are so easy to make. Especially if you have a Cricut cutting machine. All you need to do is click on the “make it now” button below to pull it up into your Cricut Design Space. Then simply follow the directions to Print Then Cut on your printer and your Cricut Explore.
Constellation Lacing Cards
Easy/Beginner
20 minute project
Materials needed:
Cricut Explore machine or Cricut Explore Air machine
Light Grip Cricut Cutting Mat
white card stock
Ink Jet Printer
Lacing Strings
Project Directions:
1. Click on the Make It Now button.
2. Pull project up in your Cricut Design Space.
3. Load 6 sheets of white card stock into your printer.
4. Select “GO”.
5. Print out your Constellation Cards.
6. Load Constellation Cards (one at a time) onto a light grip Cricut Mat.
7. Cut each card. Then remove from the mat.
8. Use lacing strings to connect the stars and create each Constellation.
Go ahead and make some for your little ones! Lacing cards are a great quiet time activity to keep kids entertained while at church, or waiting at a siblings game or appointment. They were a great way to keep my kids entertained without electronics!

Do you ever make them to sell. I would love a set. I do not have the Cricut machine.
Thanks

Nancy- I don’t sell these. So sorry!
Hi there,
Lovely idea! Thanks for sharing. I do not have a Cricut machine, but wanted to print the cards anyway. However, the link redirects to an error page. Any chance of getting a link to a printable?
Thank you!
You can print them here without having to use a cricut machine: https://us.cricut.com/design/#/landing/project-detail/9074
This is the coolest idea ever! I do own a cricut, but when it tries to open in my design space, it’s coming up as project unavailable. Can you help me with this? I’d love to do this with my kids.
Kris- I tried to look it up as well. Can’t find it anymore. Sorry. I will keep trying to look.
Hi, I can’t get the link to open either. I’m happy to print as a regular PDF also. I’ve noted other people are having the same issue. What advise did you have for them?
Kez- I am not finding them on Cricut anymore. They must have discontinued them. So sorry.
