I mentioned last week to my FB fans that I was heading to a fun Cookie Exchange that was being hosted by Jen from Tatertots and Jello…at her house! So of course I wanted to go. I have been dying to see some of her amazing creations with my own two eyes! Can I just tell you how fabulous she is in real life.
She is just like she seems on her blog…genuine and nice, and her home is beautiful.
I was able to meet some other fun bloggers…a few I already knew and many whom I didn’t know. Some of them are Amy, Lara, Shelley, Tauni, Brittany, Michelle, Kami, Ashlee, Jonie, Stacy, and Leanne. How fun is that?
It was fun to get out from behind the computer screen and get to know some of these ladies who I feel like I know from reading their blogs and interacting with through the various forms of social media!
I hope I mentioned everyone that I was able to meet! There were quite a few and so I hope I didn’t overlook anyone. If I did…please gently remind me as I would love to add you to the list!
I brought my mom along with me so after we gorged ourselves on the delicious cookies…we could go to lunch :). She took this picture of all of us and I think she may have cut 1 or 2 people off on accident. Sorry about that!! {In her defense…My camera is hard for her to use and I had on my other lens since my favorite one was broken…love ya mom!}
There were so many fabulous cookies and I ended up bringing something that was quick and easy as I ran out of time. I just simply made my favorite Chocolate Chip cookies and then dipped them in some white and milk chocolate and sprinkled crushed candy canes on them. Yeah…not too fancy compared to everyone else’s, but I like them.
I believe everyone had a good time and it was nice to step out and get to know so many great women who are really just like me!
**Are you tired of posts about me and seeing my face splashed everywhere?? I am! But wanted to share this with you so you could see the great new people and bloggers I was able to meet! Off my high horse now!

And I was just thinking about how refreshing it is to see your face in these pictures. It's nice to see the face of the person whose words you are reading. It looks like you had a great time and your cookies look yummy.
This is your blog silly! Your face belongs on your blog. And we love it!
This is a great post Amy and it's so fun to see the faces behind the blogs. What fun that must have been! I wish I lived closer and was able to participate in these types of things!
By the way, I noticed that your name tags are just little white labels. I had to giggle at that. ALL those crafty women in one room and no one made cutesy crafty name tags for the party? Ha ha! Just funnin' of course! :-D
Can I tel you how insanely jealous I am. There are some of my favorite bloggers all in one room. And eating cookies? Gah! Can it get any better? When I grow up I was to move to Utah and get a house right next to you k?
This is fantastic!! So glad y'all got to meet!! :)
