So excited to welcome Dawn to our Summer Series today!
DIY Back to School Coloring Page Bookmarks
Hello Idea Room friends! I’m so honored to be here as part of Amy’s Summer Series! I’m Dawn and I blog over at Dawn Nicole Designs. I’ve done several sets of coloring page bookmarks in the past, like the original set and the Summer set, which seem to be favorites, but my about-to-be-a-third-grader son asked if I could please make a new set and include some more boyish styles. My style is admittedly girly, so I got to work on a new set and I thought it would be the perfect post to share over here.
- White Cardstock Paper
- Colored Cardstock Paper
- Paper friendly glue
- Coloring supplies of your choice (I used watercolors)
- FREE Printable Coloring Page Bookmarks (click to download!)
Start by printing the coloring page on white cardstock. Then simply color (or watercolor!) and allow to dry.
Next, cut the bookmarks apart and glue to colored cardstock. Trim the colored cardstock leaving a small border as shown in these images.
To make them last longer, laminate them with self-adhesive lamination sheets (I get them on Amazon).
You can also create a set of uncolored bookmarks as shown above and gift them with a few markers or colored pencils for a fun DIY Gift Idea!
Thanks so much for having me and I hope you’ll pop over and say hello!
