I am excited to be part of a fun series hosted by Melissa from 320 Sycamore. Several of us have joined together to share with you some of our Favorite Things. We are not being sponsored by any of these companies or brands, but some of the links are affiliate links. We are simply sharing thing that we truly love and personally use in our families and homes. I am excited to see what my other blogger friends are crushing on right now and to share some of my current crushes with you. And who knows, you might find something here you want to try for yourself or give to a loved one this Holiday Season.
This will be a blog hop. And that means that once you have seen what I am sharing here with you, you can “hop” on over to the next blog in the series. So at the end of my list of favorites, I will share with you where to go next! I would also love for you to share some of your own favorites right now by sharing in the comments, or linking up to our link up party which will be on Thursday, November 20th on Melissa’s blog…320 Sycamore.
Let’s get this party started!
1. Clean Perfume Fresh Laundry by Dlish EAU DE PARFUM SPRAY
I LOVE smells that are fresh and clean. I have a hard time with scents that are too flowery or heavy so this one is perfect. I love getting a whiff of it during the day and I always get compliments on it.
This stuff is amazing! I LOVE the way it makes my skin feel. It leaves my skin feeling awake and fresh. I feel like my skin tone has improved greatly. I use it on my neck too daily. It lasts me about 3 months. I even wear it at night because I love it so much.
3. M2 High Potency Skin Refresh
I had clear skin all the way through high school (I know…you can hate me)…I thought I would be one of the lucky ones, but in my 20’s, when I started having babies, my skin went crazy. I developed a lot of acne scars and brown and red spots on my skin and my skin tone was terribly uneven. It was awful. This M2 lotion totally cleared them all up. I will sing it’s praises forever. It took about a year of using everyday but it totally worked and eventually all evidence of my scars have disappeared.
4. Fit Bit
I am obsessed. I feel like this has been such a great motivator for my obsessive compulsive personality. This gets me moving and motivates me to get my workout in so I can reach that darn step goal. haha! I have been found to look at my fit bit before getting ready for bed and then go for a walk around the neighborhood to finish up the last few steps.
5. Alex and Ani Bangle Bracelets
I was given this bangle as a gift and I have to tell you…I have become a little obsessed with it. I LOVE it and wear it more often than some of my other bracelets. Makes a great gift for your girlfriends, sisters or daughters.
6. The Hunger Games Book Trilogy
I had a really hard time trying pick my single favorite book. There are several books I have really enjoyed. I decided to pick The Hunger Games Series. I was enthralled with them and even though the overall theme is…well…fairly heavy, the book series really made me think and do some serious reflecting on society and the crowd mentality. It really made me think deep thoughts…and it was nice to read something that caused me to have a lot of internal reflection. That sounds really weird…but that is probably not surprising because I am…well…weird!
7. Norpro Stainless Steel Scoop
We love to make cookies at our house and we love this scoop. My kids fight over who gets to use it. So…maybe that might be a drawback…but regardless…we love it. Cookies just taste better when they are the perfect size and they all match. Yes…I have issues. And this my friends is our favorite cookie recipe…just in case you need to make some cookies for your new scoop.
I use this all of the time. I use this for many of the projects I share here. In my church, I am currently in charge of teaching the children their church songs (ages 3 to 12). This requires a lot of patience and some creativity…and lots and lots of colorful song charts. This laminator ensures that they will make it through one Sunday’s lesson.
9. Nivea Lip Butter Vanilla & Macadamia Kiss
I live in a desert and this stuff is amazing for dry and chapped lips. I use this all of the time. My kids like to take it and claim it for themselves. It makes me cranky. I have to hunt it down and guard it with my life. Someone should really buy them some so they will stop using mine.
10. Chocolate Covered Cinnamon Bears
These are bad…and by bad I mean sooo good that they become bad because you just can’t stop eating them. Do NOT start…you have been warned. It really is not good that my local grocery store sells them…in bulk…
11. iPod Shuffle
I LOVE to run. I love that it gives me a chance to get outside and be alone with my thoughts…err…my favorite tunes. I am a music junkie and LOVE to listen to my favorites while running. A great song gets me pumped up and gets me through some rough runs. This ipod shuffle is light weight and clips right onto my running shirt or pants. I also like to wear it around the house while cleaning or working on projects.
12. Fruit Infuser Water Bottle
Confession…I am not great about drinking a lot of water. I know how important it is for me, but I feel like I am forcing myself to drink the recommended amount daily. I drink water really well before and after a good run…but other than that I have to force myself to drink it. Weird right? (we already established this a few crushes up) So I got this to help me…and I LOVE it. I love adding citrus to this like lemon, limes and oranges. It makes me feel like I am getting a treat…with hardly any calories. Who doesn’t love that?
Well, that’s it. What do you think? Are you currently obsessed with some of these same things?
Now, be sure to head on over and see what Jill from Forever Cottage is sharing!

What a great list, Amy! I want the cookie scoop and that perfume :) My fit bit bit the dust — I had the old clip on kind that went through the wash one too many times…

Amy, this is the first I’ve visited your blog & it must be fate as you may have led me to a solution I’ve been struggling with since having my kids! I, too, had the most beautiful skin in HS & all the way through my pregnancies. BUT, then my system went all crazy & I also developed adult acne – huge BUMMER! I also have the brown spots & some acne scars. I can’t wait to try the M2 Refresh. I don’t care if it takes time to repair my once pretty skin. I’ll wait even if I can even have a little bit of my good skin back. So, thank you for putting that on your list! My kids have an ipod shuffle & I also would like one (I hope I get one for Christmas!). Our family is Hunger Games fanatics & are going to see the new movie over Thanksgiving wkend! You make me want a Fit Bit & to try the perfume & lotion! Gosh, so glad I found your blog & your list!! Thanks for sharing. I will visit again!!
