Sharing our favorite fruit salsa with you today! The perfect fruit salsa recipe that is easy to make the perfect appetizer to serve at your party.
FRUIT SALSA
This fruit salsa recipe may feel like summer to you, but you can surely enjoy it all year long. Without any artificial sweeteners added, it’s about as whole as you can get. Besides fresh fruit, it just has pure honey added to blend the flavors all together. You can serve it on it’s own, or make or purchase some cinnamon sugar chips to go with it…that will be a bit more on the indulgent side of things.
My name is Kristen Duke, and I’m delighted to be back visiting the Idea Room readers this week! I like to share the story, that Amy pulled me into this online world, and my photography guests posts over here 8 years ago are what got me started in the blogging world! Aside from photo tips, and sharing things like what to wear in family pictures, I also share lifestyle and travel adventures with my family and have a new parenting podcast called Beyond Good Intentions. I’d love you to visit over there, or follow along on my daily adventures on Instagram at @CapturingJoy.KristenDuke where I just started sharing monthly value theme discussions (this month is dissecting how to be more KIND).
FRUIT SALSA RECIPE
Back to the fruit salsa! My husband has had a restricted diet the past year, and I’ve been very conscious about making meals geared towards what he can eat, but also with some flexibility for the rest of the family. I’ve been very conscious about adding sugar, and when I recently brought this fruit salsa to a pool party, and someone asked how much sugar I put in it, I was happy to say…. “NONE!”
You can eat this delicious fruit salsa alone, with some yogurt, spread on toast, maybe ice cream, or with these amazingly delicious cinnamon sugar chips (found at my local grocery store, but made from tortillas).
