Sharing a simple but fun Handprint craft for Valentine’s Day with you today!
We made some fun and personalized Handprint Valentines cards to send to the kids Grandparents. We painted each of their hands with two different colors and put each handprint on paper to form the shape of a heart. Then each child printed a personalized message around the handprints in the shape of a heart. (I drew a line in pencil around the hearts to help them write along to maintain the heart shape. When we were finished we erased the pencil).
This Secret Message Valentine would make another fun gift idea.

You’re my hero.
My three year old daughter loved doing these. We did about 12 of them and we are going to send them to all the people we love. Especially her Uncle on his mission in Guatemala :-)
These are beautiful! I'm browsing through all of your Valentine's ideas and I love everything!! Thank you for sharing! :)
So Pretty! I would have to frame them.

Love these! They're so perfect for grandparents! Just featured them.
We did these and my girls had a blast! When my 17 year old came home and saw them, she wanted to do one too. Thanks!!
What is the best type of paint to use, my kids are young and we have not ventured into paints yet, so any advice would be helpful!
I simply used the acrylic paints that you can buy in the craft stores in the little 3 oz bottles. They sell several different colors. Just be sure to keep it off of their clothes or have them do it with a parent helping them and in clothes you don’t mind if they get stuff on it. It can stain but they have a lot of great colors and they have fun vibrant colors.
Found this project on Money Saving Mom web site, but I ‘pinned’ it on my Compassion Pinterest board to send to our sponsored kids. Thank you for sharing!
Glad you found it. And what a great way to use it! Thanks for sharing that with me.
This is a darling art project! I posted it in “best of the web” Valentine’s crafts here: http://www.celebratingholidays.com/?page_id=5804. I hope that is OK,
