I just love how my home feels when it is all decked out for the Holidays…don’t you? I am excited to share with you some new Christmas decor that I have added to a few of my favorite areas in my home.
I was invited by Balsam Hill to participate in their Holiday Housewalk Tour. I have worked with Balsam Hill in the past and love working with companies that I truly adore!
This year is the very first year I have decorated our Master Bedroom for the Holidays. I am not sure why I have waited this long to do it, because I am absolutely in love with it. If I could sit in my room all day I totally would!
I love that we have a fireplace in our room. It is one of the things that I immediately fell in love with when we bought our home 14 years ago.
So it was fun to dress up the mantle with some simple decor. I love how the greenery just makes the whole space feel clean and fresh! I love the calm and relaxing feeling it brings to our space.
I debated about adding some stocking holders in here for the stockings, but I ultimately decided I wanted to go with a cleaner look. So I went with the good old fashioned “tape” stocking hangers! haha! It totally works!
It’s especially cozy at night! I can’t wait to hunker down here with the first big snowfall of the season!
One of my second favorite areas of my home is this little corner in our family room. We spend a lot of time in this room as a family and this is usually the area I will sit in to get a little bit of reading in. I have always wanted to decorate with a vintage sled and I am loving it in this little spot!
I added a little bit of greenery to brighten it up a bit! Greenery makes everything a little bit happier!
One of my other favorite areas to decorate in my home is our white dining hutch that my husband built to fit this space. We didn’t have a lot of room to work with, and most of the furniture we had seen in the stores would have been too large for our space here. So my husband built one to fit our space.
I love adding a few pops of red and some fresh greenery in this space!
Adding this urn planter brings some needed color to this spot! And it’s always a good idea to have more white Christmas lights in your home! I love that this planter is powered by a battery pack. That means not ugly cord to worry about hiding and only being able to place it near an electrical outlet!
