Looking for a fun Halloween cookie or Halloween party food idea? These Melted Witch Hat Cookies are so easy to make and a great addition to your Halloween party.
WITCH HAT COOKIES
I created these fun Melted Witch Cookies thinking of how fun they would be to serve at a Halloween Party or to take to a friend or neighbor for Halloween! I came across this idea originally when I saw it on here on Betty Crocker, but decided to change it up a bit.
HOW TO MAKE WITCH HAT COOKIES
These are so simple and fun? They are pretty tasty too…even the broom bristles :)! Below is what you will need to make them.
- Sugar Cookie (or your favorite cookie)
- Bugles Chips
- Stick Pretzels
- Shredded Wheat Cereal
- Dipping Chocolate
1. You can whip up some of your favorite sugar cookies, like our favorite Sour Cream Sugar Cookies, or pick up some sugar cookies at your local bakery or grocery store. 2. Frost them with your favorite Buttercream Frosting (tinted a lovely green), or pick up some green frosting at the store.
3. Dip one half of an Oreo cookie (without the middle of the Oreo frosting) in chocolate set it on a piece of wax or parchment paper. 4. Dip a Bugle in the chocolate so that it is covered fully and then place it on top of the Oreo you just dipped. Let them set fully. 5. When set place the “witch hat” on the frosted cookie. 6. Add the witch brooms by placing a pretzel stick on the cookie with a piece of Shredded Wheat for the broom bristles.
