Looking for a fun game to play with your family and friends this New Year’s Eve? Try playing this fun New Year’s Eve Resolutions Game. I created it based on the old Mad Libs Game. Do you remember Mad Libs?
NEW YEARS EVE
We used to play Mad Libs as kids and I remember loving trying to come up with the silliest stories possible. We thought we were hilarious! So I created my own version of a New Year’s Mad Libs Game. It is a fun way to interact with your party guests and to pass the time as you are waiting to ring in the New Year.
MAD LIBS
If you are not familiar with how Mad Libs work, I will give you a quick little run down on how to play. To play you will need to download two separate cards, the New Year’s Resolutions Answer Card and the New Year’s Resolutions Story Card.
NEW YEARS EVE GAME
Do not let your guests see the story card until they have filled in the answer card first. You could have everyone do that before handing out the story cards. The answer card will give you several different Parts of Speech you will need to come up with. For example verbs, nouns, adverbs and adjectives, etc. There is a definition of what each Part of Speech is on the bottom of the card. Fill in random parts of speech for each number as needed.
Then you can read the story from the New Year’s Resolutions Story Card and plug in each answer your guests have given. Some of the word combinations can create a silly story for you and your guests to enjoy.
