I am excited to be sharing a personalized christmas gift wrap idea. these Santa gift tag Printables are straight from The North Pole Express Delivery Service! Simply download and attach.
CHRISTMAS TRADITIONS
When Santa leaves presents at your house, does he wrap them in special wrapping paper? Does he attach santa gift tag printables so the kids know who the gift is from? Or are the gifts left out under the Christmas Tree unwrapped?
When I was growing up, Santa Claus always left one gift for each kid. It was usually one big gift that was our “want” item. It was always unwrapped and left in the same spot every year…for my siblings and I. So we immediately knew where to look when we were allowed to come into the room on Christmas morning.
When I got married, I realized Santa didn’t always have the same tradition at every house he visited. My husband’s family opened their gifts on Christmas Eve and Santa would leave their stockings filled with some wrapped gifts for them to open on Christmas Day. Very different from what I had grown accustomed to.
So…we came up with our own family Christmas traditions by blending some of each of them…something that would work for how we wanted our family traditions to be. But…isn’t that what life is all about? Compromise?
CHRISTMAS EVE
On Christmas Eve we open our Christmas Ornaments. Each child is given an ornament that represents something they did or accomplished that year. Sometimes is can also be something that represents a hobby or something they enjoy. (My parents did this when we were growing up. Then when I got married, they gifted my husband and I, all of my ornaments so that we could use them to start our own Christmas Tree).
If it is in the budget for the year…and the kids need new Pajamas, they will get to open a new pair of pajamas too. We open these gifts after we read our Christmas Book and we read the Christmas Story out of the Scriptures. Then we leave out some Cookies For Santa and scatter the Reindeer Food for his Reindeer on the front lawn.
CHRISTMAS
The next morning we all gather in Mom and Dad’s bedroom until we are ready to head downstairs together. It used to be REALLY early in the morning when the kids were younger…now it seems to be later…or when the girls can manage to get their teenage brothers out of their beds. Then we all go to the Christmas Tree where Santa has left one present for each kid….
SANTA GIFT TAG PRINTABLES
This year, they are each going to come with special santa gift tag printables from Santa Claus. Wrapped or unwrapped, attach one of these special delivery gift tags straight from The North Pole Express Delivery Service! Aren’t they so much fun? I love adding the little personal touches to bring a little bit more of Christmas Magic.
SANTA CLAUS
And…it is a fun way for the older children in our family who are “wise in the ways of Santa Claus” to get involved with the Christmas Magic. They “go to bed” when the younger ones do only to reappear quietly about 20 minutes later (when the young ones are in bed) to help us with the Christmas Magic for the younger ones…not their own of course! They LOVE being able to be involved and we LOVE the help and to spend time with them.

Melissa- Just sent you an email. Thank you.
I am loving the crate with the North Pole written on the side. Where did you find that or did you create it?
Thank you and Merry Christmas
Thank you! I made that crate and the stencil. The tutorial for that is shared on the blog. The link is at the very bottom of the post.
What font did you use for the name? I love it!
The font is called Alex Brush and it is one of my favorites too!
All I get when clicking the links is to a coupon website? How do I print out or download the tags without all the coupon stuff? Thanks
Try downloading on a device that is not on a mobile device!
Love the tags! Is there a way to remove “Santa Claus” so I can add our names? Thank you for sharing these!
You can pull it into a Photoshop site or picmonkey.com and erase it and add your own text.
These tags are just adorable.
Thank you MariLynn! I really appreciate that! xo
These are wonderful! Such a time saver. I dread trying to make tags with my handwriting dusguised! Thank-you, Thank-you, Thank-you!!
these are adorable – wish my kids were younger
I am attaching them to my older kids presents too…its never too old to believe and enjoy the magic :)
Thank you for sharing these tags, they are great!!!
You are welcome! xo
How do you put the the checks and year on the tag like you have in the pictures above?
You can save the file to your computer and upload them into Photoshop and add the tags…or on a free program like picmonkey.com…or you can just write them in yourself. Hope that helps! I didn’t want to check them so that people could personalize them for their own needs!
Please help. When I try to upload them in picmonkey it says it cant upload that kind of file, I don’t have photoshop.
Thank you so much! These are adorable! We’ll be using them for a Sub for Santa project!! xo
Oh what a great idea to make it extra special! Thanks for sharing that with me!
This is an adorable tag. You are very creative and I do love the crate. Heading to that tutorial now! BTW your photos are really nice. It is nice to have traditions. We used to gather in the living room and each of our boys usually had one Santa gift to open. It was fun.

Oh no! Have you been able to get them? Let me know and I will do what I can to help you out!
too cute! I will never forget my first Christmas with my hubby. DSS was in the sixth grade and seemed to believe. When he got up, he yelled, “Santa wrapped all the gifts this year. DH had not mentioned they never did. Glad that he didn’t since I love to wrap them.
So cute!! I wish I loved wrapping gifts…haha! I lose patience quickly!

Cute! Thanks so much for sharing Yhett!!
I love ths! Santa leaves presents unwrapped at our house so this is a great way to add a little magic! Thanks!
I am excited to attach them to our unwrapped gifts this year too!! Thanks Emily.
Love these! Going to make some of them for my kiddos! A few questions…
What is the font you used for the date and elf number? Where did you find the check mark? And then, how can you change the elf number on the stamp at the top, with the elf number? I can erase it on photoshop, but getting it to slant I am not figuring it out… I would like each tag to have a different elf number.
Thanks!!!
Niki
The font I used for the elf number is Arial and I just did it in Photoshop. I used the check mark that is also in photoshop in a red color. For the slant I just turned the text with the move tool…does that make sense?
Thank you so much for the Santa gift tag, what a great way to make Christmas all the more magical for our little ones. You are so creative!
