Hey guys! I just got home and am trying to catch up on missed sleep and family life after a crazy week filled with preparing for the Snap Blogging and Creativity Conference April 19-21st. I feel like I could sleep for a week.
It is hard to believe that it has come and gone. Especially since this has been in the works for the past several months. I thought it would be fun to share with you some of the behind the scenes photos of the preparations. Most of these photos were taken on my phone since I didn’t feel like hauling around my big camera.
I would also like to share a bit of a recap of the conference itself but did not take many pictures for some reason…oopsie! Too busy running back and forth I guess. But I plan on sharing that a bit later…perhaps after I get my unpacking situation under control!
We spent the Saturday before Snap gathered together at Lara’s house (Less Cake More Frosting) assembling the decorations that Lara spent so much time planning and coordinating and getting everything ready to go.
Then all of us had various last minute to do items on our list in preparation for Wednesday when we all met at Thanksgiving Point to get everything ready to go for Thursday…the first day of the Snap Conference.
My friend Heather from WhipperBerry flew in Tuesday evening and I picked her up from the airport and she was able to spend Tuesday and Wednesday night at my house! And the sad thing is that I am not sure even we even had a chance to get a single picture together! When I got home from Snap!, I found a little present she had sneakily left behind for me and my girls (pretty much because they all claimed one as their own)…these adorable paint dipped Bud Vases…
I love them! Thanks so much Heather!
Char from Crap I’ve Made drove a trailer and pulled all the MILLIONS of heavy boxes full of the AMAZING donations for the swag bags.
We had a lot of fun getting ready for everyone. And the conference was so much fun. I met so many amazing people with amazing creativity and talent. I feel so blessed to have been a part of this.
And I promise to do a recap for those of you who are interested….But now I must get myself moving and working on whittling down my laundry pile and my Mommy T0-DO list! It’s good to be back home with my family!
If you went to Snap and are posting about it, I would love to be able to read your posts and comment on them. I am providing a linky list for you to link up to if you would like. If you would like the code for your own site, let me know and I can share it with you!

Amy, what a fun recap…You may have snapped mostly with your phone, but at least you snapped. I don’t think that I captured any pics until Saturday night when you were all cutting a rug out on the dance floor (and you’d better believe I will be posting those!)
xoxo
