A while back I shared with you IKEA‘s new program called First 59. IKEA wants to help others make the first 59 minutes of their day go a little smoother using some of IKEA’s products. I shared what some of my challenges were in the first 59 minutes of my day.
With 7 people, all heading different directions, things can get pretty crazy. One of my biggest challenges has been “helping” my girls get out the door without any drama about hair, sharing a bathroom, lost socks, shirts, or shoes. Even though the girls have a pretty large counter in the bathroom and two sets of drawers, we had trouble getting out of the door without some drama.
With all the things that moms and dads have to juggle, dealing with lost items is not something we usually like to have mixed in with the morning rush…am I right?!
We picked up some of these great drawer organizers for the girls to use in their bedroom dressers and in the bathroom to help organize things for each of them. This way everything has a spot and should be easier to find and use. It is also a great way to keep their personal items separate and easy to find as they are rushing to get out the door. So far, things have been a little smoother with the morning schedule…let’s just hope they can stay organized!

My biggest challenge is just getting out of bed. I want to stay in that warm cocoon of wrapped blankets. Where did you get that wonderful teal wire basket they monkey is hanging out in? I’ve been looking for one forever.
That is hard for me too…getting out of my nice comfy bed :). I got that at Home Goods!!
