I love to read. Reading has always been one of my favorite hobbies…but lately I feel like I have no time for it. I am busy with the kids and their activities, work and projects and just life in general. If I do find some time to read, I usually end up falling asleep because I just can’t keep my eyes open…which is a problem if you are trying to read.
Have you guys heard about Audible? Audible sells digital audiobooks, radio/TV programs, and audio magazines and newspapers.
I recently decided to sign up with Audible and have been enjoying reading again. I love to listen to books now while I am driving in the car, working on projects, running and even cleaning my house. It has been so great to get back into a hobby that I really enjoy without feeling like I have to give up my precious time.
We also like to listen to books together as a family. When we take a long road trip we download an audiobook and listen to it on the way to our destination. It has become a fun family tradition for us. We are planning a road trip in a few weeks and I am excited to listen to Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book: The Mowgli Stories with everyone before we take the kids to see it in the movie theater.
Audible has a lot of other great family friendly titles that you can listen to with your families. And you can sign up for a 1-month free trial at Audible which will get you a free credit for the audible book of your choice. Cancel at anytime and you get to keep the book. How great is that?
Today I want to share with you my Top Ten YA Books on Audible. I love Young Adult fiction even though I am quite a bit older than a young adult…haha!
