  • 6 cups oatmeal (quick or old-fashioned)
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 eggs beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix all ingredients together and pour into a greased 9 X13-inch baking pan.
  3. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  4. Serve with milk, whipping cream and/or fresh fruit.
