Add ground chicken and brown. Crumble the chicken as it cooks.
Stir in garlic, onion, ginger, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, and cook for 2 minutes.
Stir in water chestnuts and green onions and cook until tender.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Remove from heat and serve immediately.
With a spoon, scoop onto the center of a *lettuce leaf.
Recipe Notes
I use olive oil, but you can just as easily use avocado oil or another seed oil.
You can substitute ground beef, ground turkey, or ground pork in for the ground chicken if you would like.
I recommend using a crisp lettuce so your lettuce wraps don't fall apart as you eat them. I would suggest using 1 head butter lettuce, iceberg lettuce, romaine lettuce, or bibb lettuce. Any of these options work great!
