Here is a fun activity the kids can make while they are waiting to ring in the New Year! This New Year’s Eve Kids Idea is so simple which makes these Candy Watches the perfect activity for the kids, big or little.
NEW YEAR’S EVE WATCH SUPPLIES
NEW YEAR’S EVE KIDS WATCH
The watch face is made up of a chocolate gold coin which has a printable paper watch face glued to it. The watch band is just a strip of card stock 1 inch wide and as long as you need it to fit around the child’s wrist.
I thought it might be fun to add the time you are letting the kids stay up till. For example, if you are letting the kids stay up until 9:00 or 10:00 pm, you can draw the time on the watch face with a sharpie (or let the kids do it). This way they can anticipate the arrival of the “new year” and celebrate when the hands on the real clock match their Candy watch!
NEW YEAR’S EVE KIDS ACTIVITIES
The Candy Watches could also make a fun little party favor to include in a gift bag, or as an invitation to your New Year’s Eve Party. Or pass them out to your party guests. There are a lot of different ways to use this idea!
