I have finished my “big” project finally! Wahoo! And I LOVE how it turned out! I shared a few sneak peak pics with my FB fans and many were able to guess what my project was. We have been trying to find a bed for our oldest daughter because we only have two girl beds and the baby is quickly outgrowing her toddler bed. We couldn’t find ANYTHING that we liked with a good price…so we made one.
This month in my DIY Dare Club Sponsored supplies I had just the right products for this bed. As soon as I saw them…I knew I had to finally get the bed done. To see the whole project and the products used please visit the DIY Club. I will also repost this in a couple of weeks here on The Idea Room.

I love it! The stencil is one of my faves, and I like the colors, too.
I would LOVE to win this one! Our mattress cover totally ripped when we tried to put it on the mattress one of the first times~! (I guess that's what we get for not spending more on one)… we could REALLY use a good one!
I love the bed! And it would be easy to make it a 'boy' bed by using a different stencil, etc.
Oh Amy! That is BEAUTIFUL! I love everything about it! I love the color. I love the pillows. That makes me want a little girl even more :) Wonderful job!
I LOVE how this turned out! It's beautiful!! I shared your project and linked back to you at http://coffeecupsandcrafts.blogspot.com/2011/02/adorable.html
Your blog is always such an inspiration! :D
Gorgeous!! I have a feeling I would not be able to recreate that. ;)
Looking forward to tonight's Live Chat!
I just found your blog as I was looking for ideas on my bathroom re model. I was wondering if on your one in the half bath, if your Black cabinet was a semi gloss or gloss paint? WE are doing almost the exact thing. I really enjoy your blog and have stolen many of your ideas. Thanks for all the inspiration.. Feel free to reply on my blog.
