Christmas ornaments are fun and often inexpensive to make. These pretty beaded wire stars take only a few minutes to put together. Make a bunch to give as gifts this season.
Laura here from Left on Peninsula Road where I share easy crafts, holiday ideas, and more. Today I’m sharing a quick and easy Christmas ornament idea that looks much more complicated than it is. My inspiration was a gold wire-wrapped star ornament that my sister made to hang on my tree quite a few years ago.
I raided my wire and bead stash from past projects to see if I could come up with something similar to make as gifts this year.
Here’s the combination of materials I used to get the look pictured, but experiment with other wire and bead combinations to get the look you want:)
Supplies Needed for Beaded Wire-Wrapped Ornament
- Aluminum Jewelry or Crafting wire (12 gauge – silver color)
- Beading Wire (20 gauge – copper color)
- Assorted Beads (Seed Beads size 6/0 “E” beads – iridescent white)
- Ribbon for Bows (optional)
- Wire ornament Hooks

They would!! How fun would that be?!
Minutes to make? I could PROBABLY finish up ONE by NEXT Christmas! lol
LOL….Once you get it down, then next few are easier to whip up.
Did you have to glue the beads in place to keep them from rolling away from where you wanted them?
Michelle- You can glue them. It may be easier to do that. Great question.
