If you have been following along, you know that our Master Bedroom has been a work in progress for over a year and a half now. With the kids and their sports and activities, we stay pretty busy. So finding time to finish up our projects usually gets pushed to the bottom of our to do list.
So when I was given the opportunity to work with Canopy and Crane as part of National Sleep Awareness Week (March 6 – 13), I was excited to finally finish up our Master Bedroom.
In December of 2014 we tore out a wall and joined one side of our Master to a small “room” next to it. The two rooms were already joined by a pocket door (that no longer worked). The room was really too small to even fit a bed in it, so it made perfect sense to join them and make our Master Bedroom a little larger.
We are now using that space as a little sitting and reading area. I absolutely love it and spend a lot of time in there blogging…I will share that side of our room here soon. Today I want to share with you this lovely new duvet cover and pillow shams from Crane and Canopy.

Thank you so much Erin!
The rug, the chair, the curtains and everything in the bedroom.. they all just fit in perfectly in a whole. Lovely color selection. I usually see people don’t go huge with the color white mostly.. but this one bedroom is nailing it. Perfectly done. Looks amazing. :)
Thank you so much!
Wow! This bedroom look amazing. The curtains look pretty good too. I am thinking to get new curtains for our master bedroom as the current ones are worn out. But I am little bit confused with curtains color. As our bedroom color is navy blue, can’t decide which curtains color (brown, white, gray) will be great match. Can you suggest me?
I would suggest white or gray. Both are neutral colors and my favorites!
Wow, the room is so great. I wish I have one.
Thank you!
Great room. I wish I could have a bedroom like yours. Thanks for sharing this!
Janine, thanks so much for your kind words.
Great looking, Peaceful master bedroom.. You have decorated this bedroom so well. I appreciate and love your tips. It seems hard enough to find the right one that encourages and show the interior design beauty. Yours are excellent.
Thank you so much!
I love the paint colors! Are these the same colors that you used in your laundry area? If not, would you mind posting the names?
Thank you and yes they are.
Awesome Everything is looking perfect. I will definitely try to do something to make my bedroom like this one.
Thank you
