We love being outdoors during the summer months. We often get a nice summer breeze that cools off our summer evenings and allows us to enjoy eating dinner together on our back porch. We usually end up eating outside a couple of times a week. And sometimes, on the weekends, we like to invite our friends and family over for an informal BBQ.
My boys love ribs, but I don’t make them very often. I decided to make them recently and they were delicious. I also love having dinner outside because it usually means that my husband will be firing up the grill and taking over most of the dinner preparations :)!
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cut spareribs into serving size portions, wrap in double thickness of foil, and bake for 1 1/2 hours. Place ribs in a large roasting pan.
- In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, ketchup, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, chile sauce, garlic, mustard, and pepper. Coat ribs with sauce and marinate at room temperature for 1 hour, or refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat grill for medium heat. Position grate about four inches above heat source.
- Brush grill with oil. Place ribs on grill, and cook for 30 minutes, basting with marinade.
These barbecue ribs are so good…but they can be quite messy to eat. Make sure you have plenty of Brawny® paper towels on hand to help control the mess. Brawny® paper towels have more sheets on every roll vs. the leading national brand that is comparable in roll and sheet size. We have found that they are able to clean up more mess and are more resilient to tearing apart with use.
We love to use paper towels for an easy clean up too. No mess and no fuss! Summer nights were meant for enjoying!

Love the “H” plates! Where can I order?!!

Sorry…replied to the wrong comment. Those plates are from Shutterfly. You can design them yourself. I just created that file (the letter H monogram and the name Huntley) and then uploaded it into Shutterfly. They created them and sent them to me.
