All that work will not be forgotten:) I like to look at these pictures and be extra impressed that I was about 10 weeks pregnant and right in the thick of that first trimester nausea. And look at me….rubbing a turkey with oil! Isn’t she pretty?
Photograph traditions. My hubby plays a turkey bowl with other guys each thanksgiving…here is a shot of him on the move.
We played a game after eating…my friend snapped this candid moment.
I must also call your attention to my sons orange shorts and green shirt. That morning, he asked what thanksgiving colors are (he has a mom who likes to encourage dressing according to the holiday) and when I named a few fall colors, this is what he picked out. Love it;)
My kids watching the thanksgiving day parade…
Take a group shot. People may moan, but you will be happy you have it. Now keep this in mind as you hussle and bustle about your day tomorrow…take time to capture the moments. Happy Thanksgiving!!!
If you haven’t seen my movie debut, come check it out on my photography blog (and tell me what you think).

Hi there! Your blog is full of nice and cute ideas and I must say the thanksgiving menu looked mouth-watering. When I was going through your blog I found out the Glass tile pendant tutorial. I would like to make one too but I am unable to find where to buy the glass tiles. Please can you help me? Thanks in advance.
Hi Amy & Kristen,
Great tips Kristen. Recently I realised that I always take the photos, so rarely appear in any special occasion shots. No one else is keen to use the camera so I'm now training my youngest daughter to take some of the photos… and once she gets a handle on getting our heads in the shot too, we'll be on a winner – LOL.
