All of these are WONDERFUL ideas for storage, but so far out of reach for the average person. You must have hundreds, if not thousands of dollars in storage containers alone! At least for me, there would be no way I could afford to do this. Beautifully done, though!
I guess I would just start with one area at a time. If you can only afford organizing just that area for the year, I think that is progress. It can be overwhelming though. I do get that!
I always look at second hand stores for organizing containers. I recently found 3 brand new white magnet boards from Ikea for 3 bucks a piece. Just a thrifty tip… Recycle where possible :)
Great tip. Thanks for sharing!
Some E6000 glue and cake pans, wooden candle holders, and paint! All from stores. Under $5!
I made a large lazy susan for my mists out of serving platters and glasses that we had stored away. A little spray paint, a $4 lazy susan spinner, 2 cups (I used wine glasses) and 3 plates in different sizes and you have a low priced organizer! I have since made a few more for my Colorbursts, adhesives, general storage and a few others! Cheap, easy and fun!
Barb, what a great idea!
I have written this before! So here we go again. Just where is your Dollar store located? Because mine has practically nothing in it. None of the tension rods, baskets, holiday items, floral displays, ribbons, home decor, OR containers are evident at my local Dollar Store. I get pea green with jealousy when a new craft is shown being made from Dollar Store purchases. To make the craft I have to go to JoAnn´s to buy the stuff. It is the craft store in town. At their prices, I might as buy a finished store product. BKarr.
The closest one is in Centerville, Ut.
Yard and estate sales are a good place to look for storage solutions too.
Amy, I agree! I have found many items there too!
