FOURTH OF JULY
I thought it would be fun to host an Italian Soda Bar at our my family’s Fourth of July BBQ this year. So, in the name of research, I had to test it out beforehand! I think it is going to be a hit. I will teach you How to Make an Italian Soda Bar for your friends and party guests…and it is easier than you might think!
ITALIAN SODA
I absolutely love how colorful and festive they are. I even added some fun Fourth of July Printables to make them extra special for your Independence and even Memorial Day Celebrations. You can use any syrup flavors that you want to for these Italian Cream Sodas, but since we are focusing on the Fourth of July, I chose to use Strawberry, Blue Raspberry and Coconut Torani Syrups. These flavorings are perfect for the holidays because of their red, white & blue colorings.
HOW TO MAKE ITALIAN SODA
You will need the following to use this delicious italian soda recipe
INGREDIENTS:
- Flavored Syrups (I used Torani Syrups. You can get them and the pumps on Amazon or local grocery stores. You can also opt for sugar-free syrups if desired. I used bottles I already had like these Olive Oil Bottles).
- Club Soda or Sparkling Water.
- Ice
- Whipping Cream and/or Heavy Cream
- Glasses
- Straws
- Cherries (either a maraschino cherry or a fresh one) for the “Cherry on Top” (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
1. Fill 1/3 of your glass with ice.
2. Pour about 2-4 Tbsp. (or two pumps) of Flavored Syrups into the glass.
3. Fill the jar with Club Soda and leave some room for the Whipping Cream.
4. Top with Whipping Cream and stir the drink to mix it lightly.
5. Top with a cherry and a Fourth of July Printable!
FOURTH OF JULY DRINKS
The Coconut Italian Soda was my personal favorite…although the Strawberry was pretty tasty as well. I am not a fan of Blue Raspberry…but it was a hit with the kids. Next time we are going to branch out with some different flavors of syrup, such as tiger’s blood.
You can make this simple drink recipe anytime using syrup flavorings like, vanilla, lemon lime, mango, pineapple, orange and more, because creating favorite flavor combinations.

FREE PRINTABLES
And of course, you guys know how much I love a pretty label…I created some fun labels to add to your glasses to give everything a finished look. Simply print them out on regular printer paper on your computer and then punch them out with a round paper crafting punch or cut them out with scissors. Then I taped them onto a toothpick and stuck them into the whipping cream of the drinks.

Thanks for this fun beverage dessert idea for 4th of July. I’m sometimes too “treated out” to have all the red, white and blue desserts. This is a perfect way to finish up the evening with something sweet – and not overly doing it. So festive too!
