I love fun and unique gift ideas…don’t you? This DIY gift idea is super easy and fairly inexpensive, but that doesn’t mean your friends and family wouldn’t want to receive it! These Paint Dipped Utensils are fun and colorful and would make a great addition to anyone’s kitchen.
The best part is that you can totally make them your own style by painting them different colors or even painting some fun patterns like stripes, chevron or even polka-dots on them! You can make them so that they match your gift recipients tastes and personalities perfectly!
All you need to make them are some wooden cooking utensils, painter’s tape and paint. I found some utensils at Home Goods that I felt were perfect for this project.
Decide how far down you want the paint to go. Remember that if you are not using food safe paint, you will want to make sure the paint goes only a short way down the handle so that paint doesn’t come in contact with any food.
Wrap some painter’s tape where you want the paint to start. Then paint each utensil the color your desire. When the paint has dried (you may need more than one coat of paint), carefully peel away the painter’s tape.
Wrap up in a pretty package or add this Printable Thank You Gift Tag to your Paint Dipped Utensil Set tied up with a matching Hand Towel. If you would like download these Free Printable Gift Tags, simply click on the link below.
