The recipe reads a little confusing. :-) Seems like the topping actually belongs IN the biscuits, and there are no ingredients listed FOR the topping.
I was wondering if self-raising flour could be used in this recipe?
Yes, just leave out the baking powder and salt. Other ingredients are the same self rising four just has the salt and baking powder already mixed in.
Jewel- Thank you for answering that.
I think the cheese listed in the topping must go into the biscuit mix. Or as NancyRob said, it just all gets mixed. Nothing put on top!
Thanks I will change that.
I believe the stuff listed under “toppings” actually goes into the recipe and the stuff that actually is the topping: the butter, parsley, garlic powder need quantities.
Oh, yes. Thanks for making me aware of this.
So…what are the amounts of butter, garlic powder, and parsley?
We still need the quantities for the ingredients of the topping. Thanks!
Please review your recipe for the Cheddar Bay Biscuits…..it reads wrong and is very confusing to those who would like to try your recipe. Thanks!
I will look into it. Thanks.
Yes, you are missing the measurements for the topping that you brush on after they are cooked. Could you please update your recipe? Thanks!
Thanks for making me aware of this.
