Thank you for the reminder, especially this time of year. It seems like cleaning up the simple things make the biggest difference! This I can do!!
You are welcome! Its amazing the difference I have seen in my home when I do just a little bit each day!
Thank you so much for this! I’ve been meaning to get myself and home more organized and this is just what I needed to put myself in gear toward that goal. I’m a stay at home mom with 4 kids, do you have any other tips or advice for getting better organized with chores and cleaning? Or other printables that might go hand in hand with this one. TIA
You are welcome Jessica! I do have some printable chore cards that we use so that my kids clean the room the way that mom would clean it! Just a helpful reminder to them to make sure they check all the areas of the check list! You can find it here: https://www.theidearoom.net/printable-chore-cards/ and our laundry routine found here: https://www.theidearoom.net/how-to-do-laundry/
I need these tips!! Thanks for sharing them! Now, if everyone at home could just leave after I clean!
I’ve made it a habit to start cleaning my desk at the end of every work day. Usually I forget I’ve even done this and I picture a messy desk on my way to work, only to be pleasantly surprised when I get to work and sit down at a nice tidy desk. I’ve always had trouble organising my work space but a physical inbox is an excellent idea. I love any excuse to decorate my work space anyway, so I’ll get myself a nice pretty one!
Esmay- I love this so much. We are so much alike!
My house so messy.I will try to clean it up. Thank you for sharing !

Okay first of really great ideas. However, I think every single suggestion can be adapted, but personally I don’t know “how to involve the whole family” my home is filled with adult kids they just know how to litter. History!!
Christy- LOL…that happens at our house too.
I love these ideas. They are perfect for my home’s, “to do list.” However, only I, will be doing theses. Once my teen aged son turned 16 yoa, getting him to do things like this, ” is like pulling a tooth that’s not ready to come out yet.” In spite of not having the help of my teen, I still plan to implement these fab ideas. Thank you for sharing.
Stay safe and healthy
Ivory- I get the whole teenager thing..lol!
I love these tips! They really do make a difference, if you do them daily!
