Apple Nachos are one of my very favorite snacks. I love that they give me the sweet flavor I am craving without a lot of the calories of some other snack choices.
Have you ever tried them? You NEED too! They are so simple to make and you can totally customize them to your taste preferences and dietary needs.

I LOVE to use granny smith apples with a mix of fuji or honey crisp apples. I love the tart and crispy texture it adds to the apple nachos. I also love to drizzle our favorite homemade caramel sauce (recipe coming), melted chocolate and sometimes peanut butter or almond butter that has been melted.
You can also get crazy and throw in some mini chocolate chips or nuts. Really, the options are endless. Just throw on your favorites!
And just because Valentine’s Day is on the horizon, I thought it would be fun to make a Valentine’s Day Apple Nachos version. It is a fun and festive way to celebrate the Valentine’s Day Holiday with a healthier snack idea with your significant other.
Go and make some now! You will be glad you did!

How do you keep the apples from turning brown
Deb- Any kind of citrus juice would help the apples from browning. Thanks and enjoy.
